Haircuts for KDF Fundraiser!

Thank you to Charli Dwyer for a wonderful fundraising event at College!

KDF Scholar Charli Dwyer (2023–25), together with her mother Kylie Dwyer, hosted a community fundraiser at The Women’s College on 20 October 2025.

The event brought together six generous hairdressers, all of whom donated their time and talent to provide haircuts for the girls at Women’s. College students were able to book in for haircuts, with 100% of their payment going directly toward the KDF scholarship fund.

Kylie’s experience in philanthropic work, particularly working with the Ronald McDonald Foundation for their Pamper the Parents event, helped shape the event into a thoughtful, community-minded day.

A huge thank you to the volunteer hairdressers for giving their time, and to the Women’s students for contributing so wholeheartedly. Thanks to the enthusiasm and generosity of the students, an incredible $2,668 was raised to help support future Women’s students.

Congratulations to Charli and Kylie on a meaningful and very successful event.

Events like the KDF fundraiser show how community spirit can turn everyday activities into meaningful impact. It is inspiring to see students, families, and professionals unite for education support. On a lighter note, after such a busy day, I sometimes unwind with a funny paranormal romance book that mixes humor, love, and supernatural fun perfectly. Great community driven fundraising effort.

Wonderful initiative supporting education and community spirit through the KDF fundraiser. It is inspiring to see students and hairdressers collaborating for a meaningful cause. Events like this show how creativity and generosity connect people. Interestingly, even concepts like geometric solar system remind us of harmony and structure in complex systems, much like this well-organized charitable effort today indeed truly inspiring.

This inspiring fundraising event by Charli Dwyer and The Women’s College community highlights generosity and student support. Such initiatives strengthen scholarships and encourage students to explore Science fiction fantasy books for creativity and imagination. It is wonderful to see fundraising directly supporting education, reading culture, and opportunities that shape future learners in meaningful ways for lasting academic growth and success.
