The Aurora Education Foundation is a non-profit that offers a range of education initiatives focusing on increasing opportunities and support for Indigenous students to assist them to realise their potential at school, university and beyond.

Selection criteria includes a combination of academic excellence, leadership, involvement in the broader community (e.g., in sport or cultural activities), and financial circumstances. In addition, applicants must be women of, and identify with, being of Aboriginal or Torres Island descent, and be able to show the benefit of their studying to their community.
