Meet our 2022 KDF Scholars

We are delighted to introduce you to [from left to right] Raphaela Rotolo-Ross, Imogen Parker and Katie Robertson. They join Leilah Warlik, Hannah Jones and Georgina Ferreira (2021 KDF Scholars), and Hannah Heading and Amy Cooper (2020).

Imogen Parker

Imogen is from Sydney and currently studying a Bachelor of Arts (Advanced Studies). She has always been focused academically, with a former teacher describing her as “a brilliant student who has achieved outstanding results in the course through her avid passion for literature”. Her co-curricular activities at high school included soccer and Girl Guides. Imogen was a House Prefect, on the SRC and a member of the school yearbook committee. Imogen is passionate about human rights and social injustice, and has actively raised funds for, and supported a wide variety of causes. Given some challenging circumstances growing up, Imogen ultimately “aspires to utilise my abilities to promote and support inclusivity”.

Raphaela Rotolo-Ross

Raphaela grew up in Sydney and went to an academically selective school where she excelled. She has a preference for the Humanities which, she feels, will offer her “lots of professional opportunities to give back to the community and do something meaningful”. She has particular interest in Law, Economics and International Relations, and is currently studying a Bachelor of Arts (Advanced Studies).

Raphaela’s co-curricular interests range from fencing (she was ranked 6th in NSW for U20s) to swimming, basketball, choir and debating. One of her referees described her as “a talented and kind’ student, and believed that she ”will not only flourish herself but will contribute a great deal to the college”.

Kaitlyn (Katie) Robertson

Katie was born in rural NSW, but spent much of her childhood in Perth before her family moved to France. At her school in the UK, she was elected Boarding House Captain, then Head Captain and, finally, Head Girl, with one of her referees commending her for being “an amazing team leader and great role model”.

Katie is studying a combined Bachelor of Science, with planned majors in psychology and international relations. She is keen to undertake internships in government, Interpol and the UN.

We have found some fabulous mentors for each of the KDF girls, who join our other mentors who are generously continuing their relationships with our older KDF girls - thank you to you all!
