
Huma Charity Challenge
Edwina Parsons, a long-time friend of the Dawson family, led a wonderful group of fit and adventurous women in walking the Larapinta Trail in the Northern Territory, and together they raised more than $60,000 for the Foundation. Wearing neck buffs the colour of aqua (Katrina’s favourite colour), they took in some wonderful sites, all for a great cause. 2018 NSW Bar Katrina Dawson Award
The Katrina Dawson Award for 2018 has been awarded to Josie Dempster, currently employed as a solicitor at Sparke Helmore in Canberra. Raised in Moruya, Josie completed a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the Australian National University. She was admitted to practice in the ACT in June 2015.
