Update on Katrina Dawson Foundation Scholars
We farewell three more girls this year (joining Kate Field, who graduated last year): Catherine Priestley, Angie Lu and Renee Ng. Catherine Priestley finishes up her Commerce and Engineering degrees and has accepted a position at Macquarie Bank next year. We would like to thank Macquarie for partnering with us for the scholarship and for their ongoing mentoring and career support for Catherine. Fundraising News
On Sunday 17 November, a number of students from The Women’s College performed an amazing concert for the KDF, raising over $10,000. This was followed by the unveiling of ‘Reflection’, a beautiful sculpture by Katrina’s mother Jane Dawson that was commissioned by the Women’s College in memory of Katrina. We are thrilled that two more talented women have been awarded the Katrina Dawson Award by the NSW Bar this year.
